Following the discovery of cocaine bales washed ashore at low tide, the investigation takes a dark turn with the death of Lucas Lagne, a shipyard owner's son. Gendarmerie Captain Sarah leads the inquiry, and she is unexpectedly paired with Ben, a narcotics officer brought in by the prosecutor. Their reunion is complicated by a shared past—Sarah abruptly left town nineteen years prior while pregnant.
