Henri Savin runs a trucking firm for his lover Dominique Montlaur, but plans to leave her for Julie Manet, who is pregnant. Dominique threatens suicide and later sabotages a meeting between Savin and Julie. When her schemes fail, she jumps from a cliff, dying. Savin urges Julie to lie to police, and Detective Waldeck investigates the death.
