Set in 1930s Argentina, the bumbling Rufino and Jacinto are recruited by political boss Malatesta to act as his enforcers—intimidating rivals, rigging elections and committing other illicit acts. Their loyalties change, however, after they meet the beautiful Mercedes and the fiery La Mendocina, both victims of Malatesta’s criminal gang.
