Beginning in 2015, the Landless Workers Movement occupied an indebted sugarcane factory’s land, advocating for land redistribution. The film follows Grandma, P.C., and their fellow occupiers as they strive to secure a small plot of land where they can establish a self-sustainable life. They work to cultivate agro-ecological crops and build a close-knit peasant community based on shared dreams and mutual support.
