Mark is initially hesitant to assist aspiring producer Seth and writer Holly in their film about a local serial killer, fearing exposure. Intrigued by the project, he becomes involved, but rivalries, crushes, and external pressures soon blur the lines between reality and fiction. As the production progresses, Mark struggles to discern whether he's orchestrating events or merely a character within a larger narrative. The unfolding story presents unpredictable twists and turns, leaving everyone questioning its ultimate direction.
