Half‑breed Keoma, whose name means freedom, returns to his border hometown after serving in the Civil War, only to discover it ruled by Caldwell, an ex‑Confederate raider, and his vicious gang. To his dismay, Keoma’s three half‑brothers have sided with Caldwell, making his arrival hostile.
