Thilak is a news anchor at Zen One TV, run by the corrupt media baron Kalyan. He gradually realises the channel's blatant sensationalism and cozy ties with the politician Dheeran Maniarasu. This awareness sets up the conflict between journalism ethics and corporate manipulation.

Kalpana, a social activist, is assaulted by Dheeran's goons in retaliation for protesting the pesticide factory. Thilak, Ashok, and Malar smuggle Kalpana out of hospital and persuade her to tell her story. Her confession becomes a pivotal moment in exposing the truth.

Kalpana's confession is telecast live, gaining massive public support against Dheeran. Kalyan retaliates by airing a video depicting Kalpana as mentally ill, attempting to malign Dheeran. The channel uses manipulated narratives to sway public opinion.

Enraged, Thilak tries to confront Dheeran during a talk show to reveal the truth. Zen One management confines him to questions framed by them, stifling his journalistic stance. A brawl breaks out, and Thilak brutally assaults Ashok, the person responsible for the defaming video.

Thilak is fired and blacklisted from major networks for challenging Kalyan and Dheeran. Malar, executive producer Jagan, and colleagues Nishandhini and Aarthi resign in solidarity and join his cause. The entire team faces professional ruin as a result.

With nowhere else to go, Thilak and his team join Muthamizh TV, a struggling local channel run by Mayilvaganan. Thilak travels to the village to report on how the pesticide factory affected residents and pollution. He presents Abdul and Kalpana's side of the story, including footage of Dheeran assaulting Abdul.

Thilak's reporting from the village, along with Kalpana and Abdul's testimonies, exposes Zen One and Dheeran to widespread public scrutiny. The broadcasts pressure authorities to scrutinize the media's manipulation and corporate influence. This marks a turning point that accelerates Kalyan's retaliatory moves.

Kalyan, seeking revenge, orchestrates a bomb blast at the District Collector's office with Dheeran and frames Abdul as the terrorist. Thilak, Malar, and Muthamizh are framed as conspirators, leading to a government crackdown and blacking out of Muthamizh by the Central Government. The plot demonstrates how media power can be weaponized against dissent.

Thilak evades pursuit and captures a video of Abdul admitting he was not involved in the attack and was framed by Dheeran and Zen One. He holds onto the footage, determined to reveal the truth. The pursuit underscores the personal risk he faces in exposing the conspiracy.

Thilak records a video showing Ashok and the police orchestrating a fake encounter to kill Abdul. With the help of Jagan, Aarthi, and Nishandhini, they broadcast the footage on Zen One to prove the conspiracy. The revelations begin to dismantle the criminals’ control over the narrative.

The Police Commissioner, undercover at Muthamizh, records Kalyan and Dheeran's confession. They are arrested, ending the primary conspiracy. The exposure demonstrates that truth and investigative journalism can prevail against powerful interests.

Thilak, Mayilvaganan, Malar, Jagan, Pillai, Nishandhini, and Aishwarya celebrate their victory. The confession and arrests mark a turning point for accountability in media. The team recognizes the ongoing struggle for honest journalism, but this victory restores some faith in the system.
