A comedy exploring aging and youth, the film follows Julia on her 50th birthday when she feels invisible. Irritated, she leaves her party, meets a stranger while shopping, and spends the evening with him at a restaurant where friends debate the passage of years, their wisdom drowned in wine. Parallelly, on Leonie’s 80th birthday, she rebels against her daughter, the senior home and conventions, hilariously sabotaging her own celebration.
