Based on the first five‑volume “Phantom Blood” arc of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga, the film follows aristocratic Jonathan Joestar whose world is shattered by the arrival of ambitious Dio Brando. Dio, linked to Jonathan’s father, becomes fixated on an ancient stone mask that grants vampiric powers, sparking a bitter rivalry. The movie screened only in a limited Japanese theatrical run and has never been released abroad, making it effectively lost.
