Mannu lives with her parents and two younger sisters and harbours big ambitions. Her childhood friend Devi loves her, but Mannu wants to escape the pressure to marry by building a career as a sales executive at a condom factory.

Mannu takes a high paying job as a sales executive at a condom manufacturing factory, seeking independence from familial pressure. Devi joins later, and Mannu proves herself capable by excelling at her role despite hurdles.

Mannu meets and falls in love with Ranjan, a freelance nautanki artist. Keval Prajapati, Mannu's father-in-law, opposes love marriage, so the couple bribes a Pandit to present a natural looking match. They marry despite the resistance.

The family learns of Mannu's job and pressures her to quit. She is forced to leave the factory and return home, facing disapproval from Keval and the elders. The new marriage suffers from the strain of these expectations.

Mannu pivots to selling plastic boxes, a venture tied to reproductive control in the village. A colleague becomes pregnant and dies during abortion, as suggested by village elders, shocking Mannu and hardening her resolve.

Shaken by the tragedy, Mannu decides to rejoin her previous job and turn it into a platform for sex education and female empowerment. She aims to promote protective sex and challenge patriarchal norms, highlighting that women bear the consequences.

Keval Prajapati, now a candidate in municipal elections, pressures Mannu's parents to secure a divorce. The court imposes a six-month reconciliation window for the couple, intensifying the conflict.

Mannu confronts Ranjan about his lack of standing by her side; he vows to stand up to his father. The couple's bond remains strained as they navigate loyalty to family and their marriage.

Mannu appears in a TV advertisement promoting condoms for women, challenging the old market strategy. A misogynistic reporter tries to trap her, but she handles the interview with poise, generating public debate.

On election day, Keval wins the election and finds that the victory is public support for Mannu's message. He walks away from the ceremony and ejects Mannu and Ranjan when Ranjan refuses to sign the divorce papers.

Ranjan's sister goes into labour; at the hospital, doctors scold the husband for conceiving again after a difficult first delivery, warning of risk to mother and child. The scene underscores the consequences of family pressure and the need for responsible choices.

Doctors eventually declare the mother and child safe. Keval reflects on his mistakes and accepts Mannu's work, welcoming her back to the family. Dadaji points out that Mannu was trying to do the same, urging acceptance.

Mannu addresses the audience, urging women to be responsible and to use protection. The film ends with her hopeful message, reinforcing empowerment and health education.
