Jeeva pretends to be Raghu to gain the trust of Raghu's mother and sisters. Since Raghu died with a tarnished reputation in his village, Jeeva needed to become close to the family to protect Raghu's sister and her boyfriend from the wrath of the village head. By presenting himself as Raghu himself, Jeeva could move freely within the community and execute his plan to stop the feud between the two villages.

Jeeva's plan involves uniting the feuding villages through Raghu's sister's marriage. He arranges for Raghu's sister to marry her boyfriend, who is from the rival village. This cross-village union is meant to defuse the hatred between the two village heads and create a bridge between their communities.

Raghu's sister and her boyfriend become targets of the village head's wrath simply because they come from a different village. To save them from execution and defuse the political tension, Jeeva arranges their marriage immediately. The union also serves as Jeeva's strategy to bridge the two warring villages.

After establishing himself in Raghu's village, Jeeva travels to another village under the guise of a film director to continue his mission. This disguise allows him to move freely and get close to Geetha, the daughter of the village head in that region, while pursuing his underlying goal of resolving the conflict.

Geetha initially distrusts Jeeva because he presented himself under false pretenses. However, as she interacts with him, she sees past the deception and recognizes his genuine kindness, sincerity, and good character. Her affection deepens when she realizes his true nature differs from his fabricated identity.

When Geetha's father learns that Jeeva is not actually Raghu and that his entire presence was built on deception, tension erupts. The discovery threatens Jeeva's relationship with Geetha and puts his mission at risk, as family honor and village politics collide. This forces Jeeva to confront the consequences of his web of lies.

After the truth about Jeeva's deception is revealed, Smita's brother is wronged in the process. Jeeva confronts him violently and gives him a stern beating. However, he also offers the wronged party a chance to reform and move forward, showing his belief in redemption while trying to maintain peace in the community.

During Raghu's sister's wedding, a pandit questions Jeeva about his own marriage status. This unexpected question ignites a fresh conflict and forces Jeeva to confront his own unresolved situation regarding marriage, love, and loyalty to those he has helped.

At the film's conclusion, Jeeva seeks guidance from the god Maruti about his future and whom he should marry. The deity's response is interpreted as permission for Jeeva to choose his own fate. This final moment brings closure to his journey of balancing duty, love, and loyalty.

Smita, who is Raghu's sister, confesses her love for Jeeva despite knowing his connection to her late brother. This confession creates a love triangle that complicates Jeeva's relationship with Geetha and adds tension to the already delicate situation involving village politics and family dynamics.
