After a young soldier's sudden death leaves his parents and girlfriend grieving, a stranger arrives months later claiming to be the deceased's best friend. Welcomed into the home, he quickly wins over the family and the girlfriend, but they soon uncover disturbing clues suggesting he may have been involved in the soldier's death.
