A terminal‑ill Frank and his healthy fifteen‑year‑old son Clay spend an afternoon on Venice Beach, where a gypsy shopkeeper gives them a pair of enchanted wing‑tip shoes. After Frank’s death, Clay discovers the shoes transport him back in time, letting him become his father as a child and explore his early years. Through these journeys he uncovers family memories and learns what truly matters to those he loves.
