Chris Black, a flawed and adaptable 28-year-old, hosts a party at his Melbourne apartment, inviting people who have significantly impacted his life. Unexpectedly, he isn’t present when the guests arrive. As they attempt to engage with one another, conversations evolve, encompassing intellectual and political discussions, intimate topics, and surprisingly ordinary exchanges. Throughout the gathering, a recurring question surfaces, prompting reflection on their connection to the absent host and the complexities of relationships.
