Elena, married to a wealthy industrialist, spends the summer on a remote Aegean island conducting archaeological research. When her son from a previous marriage arrives, the island’s sun‑drenched landscape, its shepherds performing ancient half‑lingual rites, and a charismatic local youth bring the forgotten world of ancient Greece to the surface, compelling Elena to confront both historic mysteries and personal memories.
