Hotel Mumbai

On November 26th, 2008, Arjun, a dedicated waiter at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai, starts his shift. He is under the watchful eye of the head chef, Hemant Oberoi, as the hotel bustles with activity, hosting various guests.

The hotel is a hub of activity, with notable guests including British-Iranian heiress Zahra Kashani, her American husband David, and their young son Cameron, along with his nanny, Sally. Meanwhile, the elusive Vasili is also seen among the guests.

As night falls, a coordinated attack unfolds, orchestrated by the terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba. The chaos begins as the local law enforcement is caught off-guard, leading to confusion and terror spreading throughout the hotel.

Amidst the attack, Arjun, David, Zahra, and others find themselves confined within the hotel restaurant as chaos reigns. Meanwhile, Sally hides with young Cameron in their hotel room while the attackers wreak havoc.

A terrified woman bursts into Sally and Cameron's hotel room, seeking refuge, but tragically, she is shot by the terrorists. This shocking event heightens the tension and fear among those trapped in the hotel.

In a brave attempt to rescue Sally and Cameron, David tries to outsmart the attackers. His courageous actions lead him into a precarious situation where he is eventually captured by the terrorists.

As the terror escalates, Arjun takes it upon himself to guide other guests towards the relative safety of the Chambers Lounge. His bravery is tested as he helps a gravely injured guest escape from the clutches of danger.

DC Vam and his partner arrive at the hotel, eager to access the security room to monitor the terrorists' movements. Their arrival sparks a glimmer of hope amid the chaos as they strategize to confront the attackers.

Arjun joins the police as they attempt to confront the armed assailants. In a tense showdown, Arjun successfully injures one of the attackers named Imran, showcasing his resolve in the face of overwhelming fear.

As the true horror of the situation develops, Zahra and Vasili decide to attempt an escape. Unfortunately, they are captured alongside David, and the hotel transforms into a battleground, where many struggle to survive.

Imran, tasked with guarding the captives, experiences a crisis of conscience when he secretly contacts his family. To his dismay, he learns that the terrorists are using military training as a front for their vicious attack, deepening his sense of betrayal.

As tensions peak, the National Security Guard (NSG) arrives at the scene. This intensifies the situation, compelling the terrorists, led by the Bull, to issue a chilling command to set the hotel ablaze.

As Imran prepares to execute the hostages, Zahra begins to recite a heartfelt Muslim prayer. Her sincerity and desperation sway him, leading to her surprising escape while sparing her life due to his emotional turmoil.

In the wake of the chaos, Arjun reunites with Oberoi and work together to evacuate the surviving guests, including Sally and Cameron. A bittersweet sense of closure emerges as they navigate the wreckage of their once-safe haven.

Months later, the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel is partially restored and reopened, serving as a symbol of resilience. A memorial honoring the victims reminds the visitors of the human spirit's undying strength in the face of adversity.
