Former SWAT officer Jeff Talley takes on a new role as a hostage negotiator in Los Angeles. His experience in high-stakes situations sets the stage for a life-altering encounter.

Talley finds himself negotiating with a distraught man who has taken his wife and son hostage after discovering infidelity. Despite pressure from a SWAT commander, Talley refuses to authorize a sniper strike.
