Josef Váchal, Czech artist, typographer and author of the Blood Novel, anchors a surreal parody that mixes his life with 19th‑century pulp fiction. Directors Jaroslav Brabec and his team trace cinema from silent‑film to modern horror, using tinted film and sound, while Váchal (as Paseky, Fragonard and the Master) narrates his own creation, blurring fact and fiction until the only happy ending is the finished artwork.
