Henry Butler, a talented professional athlete with a gambling habit, is sentenced to community service at a children’s home after his addiction lands him in trouble. The home tries to use his soccer expertise to form a team, but he remains indifferent—until the building is destroyed, prompting the kids to rally and play for their community’s pride rather than personal reward.
