Tom is shipwrecked on a tropical island and his first attempts at food—a coconut and a turtle—prove too tough. He spots Jerry and quickly captures him, tossing the mouse into a frying pan. Jerry escapes to a nearby cannibal village, blackens himself with soot, and threatens Tom, beginning to cook him. The ruse collapses when his grass skirt slips during a war dance, exposing his tail and un‑blackened bottom. He flies away on a bone‑tipped hair “helicopter,” leading Tom straight into genuine cannibals, only to be pursued himself by a pygmy cannibal.
