This sports documentary follows hockey player Richard Clune as he confronts a struggle with substance use disorder during his career in the National Hockey League (NHL). The story traces his journey from a typical Canadian childhood in Toronto to his teenage years with the Ontario Hockey League’s Sarnia Sting, where a crippling addiction to drugs and alcohol developed. After debuting with the Los Angeles Kings, Clune made the difficult decision to seek sobriety, returning to Canada for rehab.
