A struggling composer is tasked with buying a property for his ambitious father‑in‑law, but he siphons the money to produce an opera. He teams up with his friend, who must pose as the husband of his stern, wealthy aunt. Together they turn the resulting blunders—culminating in the aunt’s fainting episodes—into a comedic escapade.
