After quitting his monotonous job as a bank clerk, Jerry Martin drifts into the world of itinerant hobos. Assuming the identity of Bachelor, the self‑styled “king of the market,” he inadvertently attracts the attention of dangerous criminals who are actually hunting the genuine Bachelor. Only fragments of the film survive; the Academy Film Archive preserved what remains in 2010.
