This is the story of Peter Tatchell, a controversial human rights campaigner whose provocative acts of civil disobedience challenged the British establishment and sparked a revolution in attitudes towards homosexuality. The film explores his battles against oppression, exposing world tyrants and fighting for LGBT+ rights. As social views evolve and history reflects his impact, Tatchell's activism gradually earns him recognition as a national treasure. The documentary follows him as he takes on his most dangerous campaign yet, attempting to disrupt the FIFA World Cup in Moscow to highlight the persecution of LGBT+ people in Russia and Chechnya.
