Szczepko and Tonko are fired from a toy factory for breaking a singing ban. They find an abandoned baby in a park and look after it. Wanda and her uncle, who wants her niece at the factory, take the baby. The friends search, but the uncle keeps the child. In the end the baby stays with the uncle, Wanda rejoices, and the friends accept their fate.
