Sanjay hires Raj because he suspects his wife Anjali is having an affair and wants proof to secure grounds for divorce. He wants to gather evidence of infidelity so he can legally end the marriage and move on with his life.

Anjali, suspecting her husband Sanjay of cheating, enlists her trusted friend (who also happens to be named Anjali) to gather proof of his affair. This creates a parallel investigation to Sanjay's, with both spouses secretly trying to uncover evidence against each other.

The confusion arises because Sanjay's wife Anjali and her look-alike friend Anjali are identical twins in appearance. When Raj travels to Europe to investigate, he encounters the friend Anjali, not the wife. This mistaken identity forms the core of the comedy of errors, as Raj falls in love thinking he is meeting the wife being investigated.

Because Raj was hired to investigate Sanjay's wife Anjali, he naturally assumes the Anjali he meets in Europe is the same person, the married wife of his client Sanjay. This mistaken assumption creates tension in their budding romance, as Raj believes he is falling for a married woman.

Prakash Chaudhary and Bhaidas Bhai, the wedding caterers, discover that Anjali (Sanjay's wife) is in love with Raj. They arrange for Raj to come to Anjali's house and intervene in the arranged marriage plans. Their matchmaking efforts become the catalyst that brings the couple back together for the final resolution.
