This is a poignant and immersive portrait of Dr. Yunupingu, a celebrated Australian singer. Born blind, Yunupingu’s identity and artistry are deeply rooted in his songs and the unique culture of Elcho Island. His debut album introduced his community’s Songlines to a wider audience, but as his fame grows, he grapples with the challenges of balancing his personal journey with his connection to his homeland and the traditions he cherishes. It’s a moving exploration of belonging, heritage, and the power of music.
