At the end of Great White, the remaining characters Kaz and Michelle find themselves in a desperate situation as they cling to a rusty, partially submerged shipwreck after their boat has been destroyed by the sharks. During their struggle to survive, the predator sharks attack and throw them into the water. Kaz manages to hide inside the submerged part of the wreck, but she nearly drowns trying to escape the relentless predator. Just when all seems lost, Michelle appears and manages to revive Kaz, giving her the strength to fight back. Using her newfound resolve, Kaz dislodges a piece of the ship’s structure, which fatally impales the remaining shark, effectively ending the threat. The final scenes show Kaz and Michelle making their way to the shore, safe from the sharks’ jaws and the terrifying ordeal they endured. Their survival offers a rare glimmer of hope in a story where most of their companions have fallen to the merciless predators lurking beneath the waves.
