A couple buys a household robot that looks like a grandmother, prompting their neighbours to buy a pricier model. The two ‘grandma’ bots, programmed to enforce exercise, study and chores, go rogue—snipping laundry lines, puncturing tires and attacking each other’s pets. When they clash and destroy each other, the families ditch the gadgets, preferring a chaotic comedy to robotic tyranny.
