A middle school debut as a novelist didn't go as planned for Ichiya Chitani; his early works were harshly criticized. Now a high school student, his writing confidence has plummeted. An editor suggests a collaboration with his classmate, Shiina Koyurugi, a successful and popular writer. Together, they must create a novel capable of resonating with a global audience, despite their differing personalities and writing styles.
