He plays for a local team and dreams of turning professional on the world stage. His everyday struggles set the stage for a life-changing opportunity.

During a match, Glen Foy recognizes Santiago's talent and helps arrange a trial with Newcastle United. He believes Santiago could be a missing piece for the club's forward line. The encounter marks the first step of his long journey to England.

To fund the trip to England, Santiago saves his earnings from work, but his father Hernan steals the money to buy a truck for the family business. Santiago remains determined, while his grandmother Mercedes secretly provides additional funds to help him depart.
