Ghost Killer

When the lone bullet casing that Fumika found in the street rolls into her life, it unspools the ghost of the assassin Kudo. He can only possess her with her consent, so she first uses his violent skill to punish a drunk‑driving influencer and his lecherous crew at the club. After the fight, Kudo gives her a contact—his former partner Kagehara.

Kagehara discloses the bitter truth behind Kudo’s death: the new head of their criminal organization, the son of the former boss, ordered the hit because Kudo refused to join his dirty enterprise. In a twisted confession, Kagehara admits he was the one who opened the door for the killers — and that Kudo himself had asked Kagehara to pull the trigger, preferring a controlled end to a fate that would have been worse.

Armed with this knowledge, Fumika decides to dismantle the syndicate. She, Kagehara, and Kudo’s specter storm the boss’s hideout. The fight is brutal; the gang’s elite bodyguard matches Kudo blow for blow, eventually shattering Fumika’s ribcage and forcing Kudo’s spirit out of her body. While Kudo lies “unconscious” as a phantom, Fumika claws free, lands a desperate elbow, and lets the ghost seize her again. This time Kudo finishes the bodyguard, and the deranged owner guns down his own muscle before running out of ammo. Kudo cripples the owner’s legs, and Kagehara delivers the final shot.

With the boss dead, Kudo’s revenge is complete; his soul finally finds peace and fades from view. Fumika, exhausted but alive, receives Kagehara’s promise of money to repair her apartment. She reunites with her battered friend Maho, and the two decide to become roommates, hinting at a quieter future beyond the violence.

The final bullet casing that drops onto the ground as the credits roll serves as a symbolic reminder of the night Kudo entered her world. By then, however, Fumika has learned to fight on her own—she no longer needs a ghost to give her strength, only the memory of that first trigger to remind her that she can stand in the light she once only shadowed.
