Fans of Nadesico will recognize Gekiganger, a parody of classic super‑robot series that appears in the film. The first half stitches together clips from Nadesico, while the second half delivers an original storyline and even a cameo by the Nadesico crew. It’s especially lively at conventions, where audiences sing the theme and react emotionally to Joe’s death.
