In the final days of Earth, Bran Marshall escapes to Rhea, a nearby planet now dangerous to those from Earth. He boards a Rhean supply ship, only to find the crew massacred and himself the unlikely companion of a female warrior named Ohsha. Initially hostile towards each other, Bran and Ohsha must set aside their differences when meteorites damage the ship. They must work together to repair the craft and prevent it from crashing into the planet below, where a human population resides.
