Yivo declares its love and begins a renewed relationship with the universe, removing its tentacles from people. The tentative peace is accompanied by a mass dating ritual that goes surprisingly well, though leaders fear a lack of commitment. Eventually, Yivo proposes marriage and the leaders accept the union.

Bender makes a deal with the Robot Devil to create an army of robots in exchange for Fry’s first-born, revealing a shocking selfish streak. Fry tries to pursue Leela, but she rejects him because he used her as a rebound from Colleen. Meanwhile, Kif and Amy face strain due to Amy's affair with Zapp Brannigan.
