Daniella, an artist pursuing her career in New York, chooses to spend the holidays with friends rather than return home to her parents. Amelia, an entertainment lawyer recovering from a broken engagement, is set up on a blind date with Daniella by their well-meaning parents. Initially agreeing to a pretend relationship to satisfy their families, the two women find themselves developing a genuine connection as they navigate the festive season and each other’s lives.
