A candid, poignant drama exploring comedian Frankie Howerd’s life and his long‑standing, often strained partnership with manager and lover Dennis Heymer. Though Howerd projected a flamboyant, camp image, he concealed their 35‑year relationship until his death in 1992. Their love survived career setbacks, social stigma, legal prohibitions, infidelities and Howerd’s own deep insecurities about his sexuality.
