In this Japanese‑American kaiju epic, German scientists during World War II steal the immortal heart of Frankenstein’s monster and send it to a secret Hiroshima laboratory to keep it from the Allies. The heart is presumed lost when the atomic bomb razes the city, but years later a feral child, created from the heart’s power, wanders the ruins, emerging as a new monstrous threat.
