The film blends a classic parable with Jesus’ teachings, showing forgiveness comes from God. He tells Peter to catch a fish with a coin to settle his debt, then recounts a king who frees a man of huge debt but sees that man imprison someone who owes him a tiny sum, so the king withdraws his mercy. To receive forgiveness we must also extend it.
