Popeye and Bluto spot nurse Olive, follow her into the hospital and are rejected. Determined to win her, they stage slapstick mishaps—walls falling, skyscraper dives, gunnery stunts and a plane crash—each backfires. Popeye finally forces spinach down Bluto’s throat, leaving both battered and admitted to a “Cat and Dog Hospital,” where they fight like animals before being hauled to the loony bin.
