Ferrari Ki Sawaari

From a young age, Kayo is obsessed with cricket and dreams of a future in the sport. Rusy, his father, mirrors that dream and takes him to school cricket matches around Mumbai. Behram, the family elder, doesn't share the enthusiasm and often discourages Kayo from chasing sports.

Rusy is fiercely devoted to his son and lives by his honest code. He even goes to a police station to pay a fine for a traffic violation, earning the respect of the honest cop Mhatre. His moral compass shapes how the family tries to back Kayo's cricket dream.

Two weeks before selections, Kayo learns about a cricket camp at Lord's that costs 1.5 Lakhs. The coach hints it might be framed as beginner-friendly to soften the sting if funds aren’t available. A foreign coach conducting the selections is said to be fond of Kayo and could boost his chances.

With bank loans failing to materialize, Rusy considers an EPF loan if he can secure the 1.5 Lakhs somehow. He learns a wedding planner named Babbu needs Sachin Tendulkar's Ferrari for a wedding night, presenting a dubious route to raise the money. The plan introduces a morally risky possibility to fund Kayo's dream.

Rusy goes to Tendulkar’s society to request the Ferrari; the house maid Mohan mistakes him for the driver and hands over the keys. Babbu encourages him to take the car and return it after a few hours, pushing the risky plan forward. This marks the first major leap toward funding Kayo's trip.

Mohan and Mahavir discover the theft and seek help from a stolen car dealer, Shambhu. The news of the missing Ferrari spreads through the community, increasing pressure on Rusy. Tension rises as investigators and onlookers begin to circle the incident.

After Tatiya’s wedding, Babbu delivers 1.5 Lakhs while Rusy tries to bring the car back toward Tendulkar’s society. He spots police presence and, fearing exposure, abandons the Ferrari on a road. The car is impounded by Mhatre, and Rusy leaves the money inside the car.

Behram scolds Rusy for the mess but recognizes Kayo’s talent and resolves to find funding. He approaches his friend, the influential Dilip Dharmadhikari, in hopes of securing money or influence. The scene marks a shift toward external backing for Kayo’s dream.

Rusy persuades the impounder to allow retrieval of the money by using a cover, while Behram arrives and leverages pretending to act on Sachin's behalf to secure the car's return to him. Rusy escapes the situation with the money, avoiding capture for the moment. The money is meant to fund Kayo’s camp.

Kayo earns a spot at the Lord's camp, but Dilip publicly notes that Kayo’s parents cannot pay. Rusy hustles to Dilip’s office and, in a tense exchange, uses the cash to press for Kayo’s place at the camp. The money-passage becomes the pivot for Kayo’s continued pursuit.

Behram takes Rusy and Kayo for a celebratory drive in the Ferrari through Mumbai's streets. Tatiya's son Pakhya wants the car for another night, and when Rusy resists, Behram physically edges him out and steals away with the car. The dangerous drive deepens the emotional stakes for everyone involved.

During the chaotic drive, Kayo disappears. Rusy broadcasts Kayo’s address live to the city in a desperate plea, which reaches Kayo’s coach who tracks him down and brings him back toward safety. The public spectacle becomes a turning point for the family.

Mohan, Mahavir, and the police recover the situation, and the family regroups. Kayo asks Rusy to return the money, and Rusy does so. Pakhya finally returns the Ferrari to Mohan and Mahavir, who keep it safe until Sachin returns.

Behram, Babbu, police, and bank managers come together to donate 1.5 Lakhs to send Kayo to London for the Lord’s camp. The community’s united effort demonstrates belief in Kayo’s talent and ends the immediate fundraising struggle.

With the funds secured, Kayo journeys to London to attend the Lord's camp and has the chance to play alongside Sachin Tendulkar. The film closes on the note of the community's faith turning into a live opportunity for the boy’s cricketing dream.
