In sleepy Scottsville, the annual apple blossom festival is the only buzz until the gruesome death of bat‑researcher Prof. Fuller sparks panic. City‑raised rookie Officer Ally Parks pushes Police Chief Sam Taylor to probe the mutilations, which turn out to be savage bat attacks. She teams with animal‑control specialist Dr. John Winslow, his curious daughter Genny, and high‑school friend Logan to uncover a link between the carnage and corrupt real‑estate mogul Carl Hart.
