Based on Joost Zwagerman’s novel, student Simon moves into the red‑light district and becomes completely smitten with a sex worker. When he intervenes after she is assaulted, they embark on a relationship. Simon digs deeper into her private life, only to learn that ruthless underworld figures are hunting her, pulling him into a dangerous world.
