Haunted by his first sexual awakening, teenage Isao becomes obsessed with his gym teacher Ikuko, dreaming of her each night. When he finally confesses, she rebuffs him, prompting Isao to devise a series of schemes aimed at repulsing Ikuko’s fiancé, the school’s chemistry professor. After his attempts backfire, he resorts to a drastic, unknown plan whose consequences are left unsettlingly open‑ended.
