Presented as a magical vision from three of Italy’s most acclaimed directors – one of them the creator of Cinema Paradiso – the anthology offers four light‑hearted episodes set in the idyllic countryside. An irritable old man befriends a stray dog; a lonely widow secretly watches her newly‑wed son and daughter‑in‑law; a German tourist attempts to seduce a young nurse; a fourth segment was omitted from the U.S. release by Miramax.
