After eight years in prison, Samuel returns to his old neighborhood, forcing him to confront unexpected circumstances and re-evaluate his passion for boxing. Much has changed; his former coach, Joe, is now training a promising new fighter named Víctor. To earn a chance at redemption in the ring and support his family, Samuel reluctantly agrees to become Víctor's sparring partner, a "chata." This is a story about individuals facing seemingly insurmountable obstacles and predetermined struggles.
