Mystery Pictures is scouting for a stunt performer; Popeye brings Swee’pea along but sends him home. Undeterred, Swee’pea sneaks back and watches Popeye show stunt footage to the director, who is impressed. When director reaches for the last reel, Swee’pea hands him the 1937 Lost and Foundry short, where he saves the day, and the director signs him.
