Born in Feira de Santana, Bahia, Divaldo experienced mediumship from the age of four. His childhood was challenging, marked by disturbing visions, rejection from peers, and his father's disapproval. At seventeen, he accepted his abilities and, with his mother’s encouragement, embraced Spiritism, moving to Salvador to study the doctrine. Guided by Joanna de Ângelis, he overcame loneliness and dedicated his life to charity, becoming one of the most significant mediums in history.
