In 2010, the outskirts of Paris, particularly Banlieue 13, are depicted as a chaotic ghetto, home to over two million distressed residents. The government, unable to manage the escalating crime and lawlessness, constructs a high wall to contain the area, effectively isolating its inhabitants from vital services.

Leïto, a strong and determined figure in the neighborhood, emerges as a leader intent on clearing his area of criminal elements. He accidentally acquires a significant drug stash, putting him in the sights of local gangs, particularly that of Taha Ben Mahmoud.

Taha Ben Mahmoud, seeking vengeance after a significant loss, kidnaps Leïto's sister, Lola, as a means to control Leïto. The abduction occurs in a local supermarket and marks a pivotal moment that spurs Leïto into action.

Fueled by love and loyalty, Leïto embarks on a bold mission to rescue Lola from Taha's clutches. He confronts Taha, leading to a dramatic confrontation that results in Taha's capture by the police.

Despite his initial success, Leïto finds himself betrayed by corrupt officials who arrest him instead of aiding him. This act leads to further chaos as the district continues to spiral out of control amidst rampant violence.

Damien Tomaso, an undercover officer with a reputation for success, becomes involved when receiving a new mission from government operative Kruger. His task is to infiltrate Banlieue 13 to defuse a nuclear bomb activated by Taha's gang.

Disguised as a prisoner, Damien enters the perilous realm of Banlieue 13, where danger lurks at every turn. His aim is urgent—he must find Lola, who is chained to a missile launcher with only 24 hours to prevent disaster.

As Damien and Leïto reluctantly team up, they realize Taha is demanding a heavy ransom from the government to deactivate the bomb. Meanwhile, K2's members sense Taha's diminishing power and begin to plan a rebellion against his oppressive rule.

K2's members, having grown weary of Taha's cruel leadership, unite to overthrow him. Their rebellion becomes successful, leading to Taha’s loss of authority over the gang and a shift in the power dynamics within Banlieue 13.

Amidst their escape, Leïto and Damien are pursued by K2, but instead of engaging in battle, K2 surprisingly offers a truce. This unexpected alliance allows them to focus on the pressing issue of disarming the bomb, avoiding further violence.

As they reach the bomb, Leïto and Damien encounter Yeti, a formidable henchman of Taha who stands in their way. The confrontation is intense, but they manage to outsmart Yeti and move forward in their mission.

Damien contacts Kruger to obtain the code necessary for deactivating the bomb. Unknown to him, Leïto has already found evidence that the code is actually designed to trigger the bomb instead, raising suspicion about the government's true intent.

As tension rises between Damien and Leïto, the latter realizes the government’s sinister plan to frame them for the bomb’s detonation. The conflict intensifies until Lola intervenes, preventing any immediate disaster and allowing them to confront the truth.

K2's gang grants Leïto and Damien a safe passage out of Banlieue 13 after the truth comes to light. Grateful for this second chance, the duo plans to leverage this newfound knowledge to fight back against the corrupt system.

Returning as allies, Leïto and Damien confront Kruger, using the bomb as a means to extract a confession about the government's plot against Banlieue 13. Promises are made to address the injustices faced by the residents, ensuring a brighter future for the community.
