Naoko, an art teacher with bipolar disorder, chops cabbage and self‑harms, prompting husband Yoshio to intervene. Yoshio poses as a woman, “Yoshiko,” while Naoko, dressed as a schoolgirl, meets Kimiko, a neglected student with Tokio. Naoko invites Kimiko to stay, and three entangle, climaxing as Kimiko binds Yoshio and paints obscenities on his body.
